Dermal Fillers

Marionette Area

Softening the lines that run from the corners of the mouth toward the chin.

Marionette lines can make the mouth look downturned even when mood is fine. Support in this area, or in the chin and mouth corners, may ease that pattern. It will not stop you from looking like yourself when you speak.

Who may consider it

People who feel the lower face looks sad or heavy at the mouth corners may wish to discuss this. Suitability is assessed during consultation.

During consultation

The mouth is highly mobile. Conservative placement matters. Dental support and chin position are part of the picture.

What are dermal fillers?

They are injectable gels, commonly hyaluronic acid-based, used to restore or refine volume and contour. They are prescription-adjacent clinical treatments, not makeup. Suitability is assessed in person.

Will filler change who I look like?

It can, if used without restraint. Our planning is aimed at you looking like you — balanced and supported. We will decline or reduce a plan that would look unlike you.

How long does a filler appointment take?

Consultations are typically around 45 minutes. If treatment proceeds, allow additional time depending on the areas involved.

Is there downtime after filler?

Swelling, tenderness or bruising can occur and may last days. We suggest not booking important photographs the next morning. Aftercare is personalised in clinic.

Are results guaranteed?

No. Anatomy, healing and aesthetic preference all differ. We discuss realistic possibilities and risks before any treatment.

Can I start with a consultation only?

Yes. In fact that is the correct start. Booking a consultation does not mean you will be treated that day, or at all.

Why don’t you list prices for filler?

Volume, product and areas vary. A lip conversation is not the same as a mid-face plan. Pricing follows assessment.

Begin with a conversation.

A consultation is how we understand your face, your goals, and whether treatment is appropriate — not a commitment to proceed.
