Frequently asked questions
General information only. Your own plan — if you have one — is decided in clinic.
Do I need a consultation before treatment?
Yes. We need to understand your goals, relevant history and facial anatomy. Online booking is a request for that conversation — not a purchase of treatment.
Where is AroAash Skin Lounge?
We are based in the Wellington region, New Zealand. The street address is shown on the contact page once it is confirmed.
Do you treat men?
Yes. Planning is based on your face and your goals, not on a gendered template.
What are anti-wrinkle treatments?
They are prescription injections used to soften lines related to facial movement — for example on the forehead, between the brows, or around the eyes. At AroAash they are only discussed after consultation. They are not a cream, and they are not permanent. Botox® is one brand of botulinum toxin type A; product choice, if any, is a clinical decision.
What are dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers are injectable gels, often based on hyaluronic acid, used to restore or refine facial volume and contour. Consultations in Wellington may include lips and other facial features. Suitability is assessed in person, and results are not guaranteed.
How do I know which treatment is suitable?
You do not have to decide from the website. Consultation considers your concerns, how your face moves, and whether anti-wrinkle treatment, dermal filler, a combination, or no treatment is appropriate.
How do I book?
Use the Book a Consultation page to request a time. You can choose an anti-wrinkle, dermal filler or general aesthetic conversation. A request is not a purchase of treatment.
What happens at an AroAash consultation?
We start by listening. You will be asked what you notice about your face and what you would like to change — or protect. Your practitioner then assesses facial structure and movement, explains options (including doing nothing), and only proceeds with treatment if it is appropriate and agreed.
Do you publish treatment prices?
No. Treatment plans vary with the areas discussed, your anatomy and what is actually recommended. Pricing is talked through after assessment, as part of planning — not as a menu. Submitting a booking does not commit you to treatment.
Will I still look like myself?
That is the point. We plan for a rested, balanced version of you. If a request would look unlike you, we will say so. Looking “done” is not a goal we share.
Who is AroAash for?
Adults who want considered aesthetic care in Wellington — including people who are new to treatment and people who have had treatment elsewhere and want a more restrained approach. Men and women are equally welcome.
